Old Boy Marriages
Congratulations to Dustin Dumaresq ('95) and Nicky who got married in April in Stellenbosch.

Groomsmen were all SACS Old Boys: Mike Dumaresq ('02), Gareth Mountain ('95) and Grant Swanepoel ('95).

Clarification of the Once-Off Appeal Letter
Some Old Boys had queries about the Once Off Special Levy appeal which was sent out last month. We have answered those questions with a letter which was emailed to Old Boys recently.

Are you an Old Boy who matriculated before 1997?
Since 1996 the School and OBU have aspired to keep pace with rising costs – School fees have trebled in this period, resulting in more money being required to fund SACS Foundation Scholarships.
We are asking our members who matriculated in 1996 or earlier, for a One-off Special Levy...

SACS Rugby Website Launched

SACSrugby.com is dedicated to the rugby players, coaches, parents, Old Boys and supporters of SACS. Their main goal is to use the site to promote a proud rugby culture in the school, and to share all rugby related matters with the SACS communities both here and abroad.

SACS to host Cape Schools Rugby and Cross-Country Week
SACS will host Cape Schools Week and it promises to be an almighty festival. Apart from rugby from Dale, Selbourne, Muir, Queens, Grey PE, we have our rivals from RBHS, Wynberg, Boland and Paarl Gym.

Israel Reunion by Jeff Lederer ('63)
As the familiar strains of the school song "The SAC is the College for me" echoed through the clean Spring night, I wondered to myself what on earth the neighbours were thinking. I doubt very much whether they could have guessed that this simple gathering was a reunion of some 40 or so S.A.C.S. Old Boys in Israel..

Mayor's Medal Awarded to Ben Rabinowitz ('49) for Civic Honour

Ben Rabinowitz ('49) fills his days with doing “good deeds”, giving before being asked, stepping in where angels fear to tread, and using his formidable legal knowledge to fight worthy causes. He was recently awarded the Mayor's Medal for Civic Honour
