of John Ince and his involvement in all things SACS.

the lives of so many, and his memory will live on the hearts

Zimbabwe Rugby Tour - Golf Day Fundraising Event
SACS
has
been invited to take part in a Rugby Festival in Harare in June and we
take pleasure in inviting you or your company to participate in our
Fund Raising Golf Day.
The Festival
will feature SACS, Maritzburg
College, and Pretoria Boys' High School from South Africa plus three
Zimbabwe schools, competing over three days and should prove to be a
wonderful character building experience, which will provide memories
and friendships to last a life time.
Our Golf Day will host players, plus well known personalities, as well
as parents and friends of SACS to raise funds to send the boys on
tour.

Changes to the awarding of the Rhodes Scholarship
In an historic move, supported by the leaders of
the schools, the Rhodes Trustees and the Southern Africa Rhodes
secretariat, all of the Rhodes Scholarships created for former students
of or from particular schools in South Africa will now be opened to
former students of identified partner schools.

School Rugby Results - Saturday 14 April
The oldest school in South Africa, SACS, travelled
north with five
teams to play the oldest boy’s school in Johannesburg, Jeppe
Boy’s High
in the second instalment of the Jake White/Percy Montgomery Shield. The
1stXV game was a thriller with SACS eventually holding on for a 23-22
win.
